O.K that bit I understand.the later heads will have the correct volume etc then.What about the pistons?Do I just build it with whats available?I will take the barrels to a local engineer to get them...

I only use the clutch to start and 4 or 5 starts from the frictions.The steels last longer and I have just bought some better quality steels so they should do a season.

I think I'll leave it as it is then!!I'm a bit heavy handed off the start so it gets expensive replacing the frictions although the steels last for a good few weekends.I seem to get 4 or 5 starts...

I have been advised to fit an extra Steel plate into my clutch to help clutch slip off the line and help the friction plates stay cooler and last longer.It would mean having 2 steels back to back in...

Yes Dennis has the yamaha part but I believe that cost is for bottom yoke and stem only.Not cheap.
