WTB 4DP/4TW Wheels Frt & Rr

    a d v e r t i s e m e n t

    Hi All,

I am interested in purchasing front and rear wheels for my '94 4DP. They do not need to be in super good condition, but if they are damaged then need to be repairable as I intend to use them for wet setup.

I am not sure if 5ke wheels will fit, but if they will then happy with that as an option as well.

Let me know what you have got!!

    Thanks

    Chris

    wheels

a front 5ke should fit right up with 5ke spacers, as for the rear it will work but will require buying all new sprockets and making a set of spacers with the 4dp axle dia. you will also need to turn back your existing rear caliper carrier of purchase a 4tw one. a 4tw rear will work since the sprockers are the same but there again new spacers are required as is the right hanger. I have 5ke wheels on my 4dp but it as easy for me since theres a lathe and mill sitting in my shop, I used all 7075 alum for spacers. I do have a new 5ke front that I will part with, its white theres no bearings or center spacer.

    hope this helps

I have a set of 4DP wheels I can sell, but I won't be home for a few weeks.

just to clarify: any TZ wheel can be used; 92-end. only difference is axle diameter on the rear ca. '96 (i.e. bearings, spacers).

in 2001, they changed the bolt-circle diameter for the cush rubbers. i avoided the need to go buy all new sprockets but use a variety of 4DP, 4TW and (early) 5KE wheels on my 2000. you could do the same on any TZ to the end. you just want to avoid any '01+ wheel mix/matching w/ '00 and earlier.

i also dont believe there was any change to the rear brake caliper, or its carrier.
