Hi Steve,
maybe look at the electrical Schematic in the back of the manual and with a Multi-meter, verify that you have electrical continuity in the "spark related" wires, ie from the pickup generator to the ECU. If yes, then it could indeed be the ECU. If the ECU is the culprit, you could go the path of Ignitech, instead of trying to track down another Kit ECU.
