    This weekend at Barber

So what is the scoop on this weekend at Barber. Is it a vintage deal, a USGPRU event. How or where would I sign up? Is my FIM license from 1991 still good?

    Thanks all in advance.

Too late to do you any good, but the Barber Vinyage Festival was/is an AHRMA event with their mix of vintage and modern bikes/classes. Your license may or may not have been okay, but AHRMA requires participation in at least one other AHRMA event to be elgible for Barber.
We were there with our '92 4DP and clinched the travel log Open 2-stroke championship. The Open 2-stroke field had 9 bikes including a '95 4DP 250, a couple of RS125's, several RZ 350 production racers and a Suzuki 250 Gamma. Jason Ried from Columbus, OH on his very fast RS 125 was closing on Greg on Saturday's 8 lap race but we were gapping him on Sunday when we were cut short by a red flag. There were at least a couple of killer RD400 bikes there but class choises had them in other races.
