Now looking for a TZ250 rear wheel, 5 spokes, 1996-2010 (4TW or 5KE).
just in case its not clear: ca. 01/02, they changed the bolt circle diameter for the cush drive. so, a pre '01/02 wheel requires different sprockets than a post '01/02 wheel. which, as noted in this thread will work fine in any bike....but will require you to have TWO sets of sprockets.
i just use the older style and keep it simple, fwiw.

I have all the sprockets (for the 2 bolt circle diameter).
Since I'd like to find a rear wheel to complete a set, I don't really care if it is older or newer type wheel (96-09).
It would be for my rain set up or pre mounted tires when tire vendors don't show up.

If everything seems under control, you are just not going fast enough!
