Many of you will have heard of Rex's Speed Shop (or Rex's rewinds) but for those of you that haven't we are a specialist electronics company that not only designs and manufactures a range of products for the early TZ machines but we rewind generators on on the TZs. We have a range of electrical parts such as condensers and batteries:

Currently have a special offer on replacement TZ250 5F7 CDi units. These are standard replacements to be used with Hitachi systems.

For a number of years now we have supplied refurbished CDi units for the 250/350 twins:

We've also held our prices on generator rewinds at £150 for the TZ250 5F7 . For this price we fully overhaul the generator.
    • CNC rewound source coil
    • CNC rewound pulser coil
    • Blast cleaned metal parts
    • Windings sealed in resin applied under vacuum, then pressure
    • New leads
    • Laminates built up concentric so rotors don't rub
    • Fully tested before being returned

We offer rewinds for most TZs not just the classics. We can bench run most of the classic systems and check the timing is on schedule (in some units a filter circuit can fail affecting one cylinder)
