This is by far the best bike I’ve ever owned and it’s taken me a fair amount of time just to decide to sell it!
The bike was bought from Dennis Trollope 2012/13 to compete in the British 250gp series with NGRRC, and has served me well, I won the 2014 NGcup class and finished every single race in 2016 leaving me 5th British championship (please see all ngrrc results/photos on ngrrc web site) one of only two bikes to finish all races this year, this in itself is a credit to the bike and I’m sure I was the only factor holding the bike back from finishing even higher with the right jockey on her it can definitely finish top three!
Before I owned it it was Alex Kenchington’s spare bike and even has the FIM sticker on the frame from the 2006 British GP at Donnington where he had a wild card ride!
The bike has been checked top to bottom after Thruxton and will require new pistons and crank rebuild for next season as its had every year !!,it goes back to Dennis every ‘off’ season for full rebuild, I’ve got every receipt for every part its ever had along with all the dyno sheets from dynotech showing impressive and safe horse power!
Dennis Trollope racing will provide crank rebuild along with any other part it requires at extra cost (no problem buying parts like Honda)! With the price set a tad low in my opinion to take into account the re fresh required, the crank cases are good and have not been sleeved like many of the 5ke’s out there, the bike runs kit pipes and I’ve only ever burnt Avgas which is cheaper and safer than race fuel.
This bike was maintained at the race meetings by none other than the world famous Jez Newbury! ex GP,BSB,TT,WSB MECHANIC.
The bike will come with spare wheels ,some spare tyres , rear stand ,sprockets ,jets and a small selection of spares ,there’s a ton of spare body work, seats etc. , (see pics) some brand new freshly painted body work too! Looks amazing!
The bike sounds crisp and responsive and can be seen running, I clock every mile the bike does and any part getting close to its mileage is changed before damage is caused, log book and receipts to prove this!
If you have seen the prices for these bikes over the last few years you’ll know in 10 years’ time it WILL be worth alot more than this! Fact.
17,250GBP would certainly be a bit of a market buster. I don't for the life of me understand the reluctance to share sale prices. Who is harmed by the real data which certainly would benefit any potential buyer?
