WTB 99 newer RS250 forks and carbs

Looking for a 99 or newer front end. (Forks, triples, brakes) Also need 99 or newer carbs.

I'm in the process of mounting an Ohlins front end on my 'RS 250. I'm working on machining the proper caliper mount brackets, fender mounts, and wheel spacers. They are the same length and fit into the stock triples. There are 3 different setups you can go with.
1. Road and track forks (like on the R1LE and Ducatis) about $2600
2. Superbike forks (AMA Factory quality stuff) almost $5k
3. R&T forks with superbike valves. About $2900-3000.

They are the same length and fit into the stock triples.
Are you sure about that? Most GP forks are a fair bit shorter than superbike/ road forks: my TZ forks are 680mm from axle centre to top, Ohlins superbike forks are 730...

I didn't get my forks on eBay, I bought them new from Kyle racing in Monterey. They are Ohlins forks for the Ducati Monster. They are actually 5mm longer than the RS forks which translates to having an extra 5mm of protrusion above the top triple clamp. I just completed the caliper mounting brackets and axle spacer and now I am working on the fender mounting brackets.
When the whole contraption is together, we're going to take it out and get the valving and springs set up properly for the 250.
If everything goes according to plan and enough people are interested I might be able to get a production run of mounting brackets and sell the complete fork setups.

Did you consider just dropping an Ohlins (or WP or K-tech) cartridge kit into the std forks?

According to the Ohlins distributor, they don't make a fork internal kit for the RS250. If I did find some fork internals, they would cost about $1300-1500. I said F$%k it and paid the extra money for the entire fork.
