My apologies for the uber looong delay. Seeing as the christmas season is upon us and new year is fast approaching, i've been swamped with deadlines at work so parting out and cleaning up the RS has taken a back seat. We've only managed to clean up the rear end (swingarm, suspension, wheel, chain, axle, pipes, etc.) as of now. But not to worry, It has never been on Ebay and it is still up for sale. Those who first sent me inquiries about purchasing the entire bike as a whole get first crack at it as it serves my best interest if i sell it in one go (christmas is a money pit http://www.tz250racing.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif ). Clearer pictures will follow when ready, so sit tight guys.

Thanks for everyone's interest.

cheers! http://www.tz250racing.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Spent all day saturday taking the bike apart and cleaning the frame. The frame looks to be in excellent condition apart from a small crack and chip on the swingarm (probably from impact with the chain), a slightly bent right rearset and upper fairing mounts (lowside damage). The forks are also in great condition but would probably use new seals or a rebuild. The rear shock is in excellent condition as well, though the showa sticker on it does not look original. The wheels/rims with mounted dunlop slicks have also been cleaned and are in great shape apart from cosmetic paint chips. The wheel bearings do require replacement though. Pics of the rims to follow.

I've recieved a number of offers for the whole bike, so i'll be giving first priority to considering their offers.

Will post images of the engine, rims, radiator, carbs, electrics and fairings soon. Hopefully i'll be able to upload another batch of pics by the end of the week.

thanks for your interest and happy holidays! http://www.tz250racing.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

sorry guys. like i said, i've been getting offers for the entire bike as a whole, so i decided to prioritize their offers first. But if negotiations don't push through, i'll continue breaking it and selling it as parts.

thanks for your continued interest.

Cheers! http://www.tz250racing.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Finally, i've been able to spend some time cleaning and putting the bike back together. Through the cleaning process, I noticed some dents on the Pipes, Tank and radiator, a small chip on the swingarm, a slightly twisted right rearset, a repaired right clipon and a knackered front brake master, all of which damages from a mild lowside crash. Everything is still in perfect working order, except the front brake master which would definitely need to be replaced. The rear brake calipers seem to be missing the brake pad retaining stud. The rear master works fine but personally, i'd opt to replace the rear brake master as well. The bodywork is complete and in good condition, but it's missing a windscreen. The engine runs, but i'd say it might be due for a rebiuld. The wheels are in excellent condition but would also use bew bearings. Here's the link to see some detailed pictures with the bike almost complete (brake system and fairings still off for cleaning):

I'm still more keen on selling the bike as a whole, so i'm prioritizing people who are interested on picking up the whole bike. But if i don't get any takers, i'll continue with parting out the bike and maybe just post it up on ebay.

If you're interested in the bike as a whole, let me know your location and so i can find out the cost of shipping. Also let me know if you want me to ship it as a whole or if you want me to take it apart again and ship it in boxes.

Thanks for your interest.
Happy new year!
Cheers!
