Hi everyone. I recently had my lap top with the HRC datalogger software for my 2001 NXA RS250 stolen. Unfortunately, the CD was stolen with the lap top. I have been told the CD is no longer...

Hi there. What do you guys typically run in terms of static (unladen) and laden sags on your NX5 125's?
I have read figures unique to 125's like zero static sag while others just use figures the...

I had trouble finding an Ohlins steering damper that had the 100mm travel the RS Honda needs. The TZ items are only 90mm. I ended up buying a very nice K-tech unit. Similar price. Amazing quality. It...

Hi Bruce. What rate were the 150 to 170lb AMA guys using for the rear?
-
Thanks. Will try that as I have not connected lap top when engine is running. If not it may have ruined the datalogger or det counter! Expensive. I have read they are fragile.
-
Sorry not the problem. More serious I think. It reads "memory serious insufficiency. Close program" I can't seem to get rid of it. Says same if I try and open det counter file as well.
When the...

Hi there,
When setting the suspension stroke on my data logger do I need to remove the springs to allow the suspension to fully compress so it has a baseline setting or only set it fully extended?...
-
Thanks for that. I have heard it might be related to them not using the clutch and getting a lot of shock on the downshifts. Don't know how true that is though, but does seem something is maybe...

Thanks, thats all I needed to know. No it was under power and the crank is quite possibly over 2000km old based on the condition of the rest of the bike.
I just did up the top end and the extra...

Hi all,
I rebuilt the top end of my 2001 NXA RS250 and the crank then failed after only 10 laps. It was possibly very old but their was no abnormal freeplay when I checked it before the big end...

Hi again. Having looked high and low on my 2001 RS250 I cannot find where these interchangeable plugs are to alter the PJ shut off point.( i.e mode1, mode 2 etc. ). Where should I be looking? Behind...

Hi all, after reading everything I can find I cannot work out the Keihin needle identification system of what numbers identify the tapers etc, and even which ones are richer or leaner. Anyone know a...

Oh thanks,
Pardon my ignorance but what is sm mean?
Maybe I need to pump it up harder to bead it better?
-
Hi there. I have found my 2000 TZ250 to have a 5.5inch rear rim fitted, with the result the normal 165 section rear does not fit it properly, and the bead does not go all the way to edge of the rim....

Thanks so much. Is your weight with all your riding gear?
If so I am a about 10 lb lighter so will try a 7.5kg rear and stock front as I like a slightly plush ride.
Just got the springs from...

Anyone know the stock the stock front and rear spring rates for this bike? The workshop manual doesn't state as far as I can see.
